Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) is seeking to improve access to health-care services that will be offered at a new reproductive health-care clinic, centrally located in Vancouver and expected to open in 2027. This clinic will consolidate reproductive health-care services in Vancouver under one roof. In particular, VCH is seeking to increase access for people who identify as women and other marginalized individuals seeking reproductive care, specifically from the Indigenous community through: (1) creating a welcoming and inclusive space, and (2) removing barriers to accessing care and offering improvements in the workflows of the service providers.
VCH would like to invite you to complete the survey below to provide input on what would help make the new space and delivery of services welcoming and culturally safe.
Your feedback is important in helping to shape the delivery of important health-care services at VCH.
Project Background:
VCH is committed to providing safe, quality care for individuals accessing sexual and reproductive health services. In partnership with Everywoman’s Health Centre (EWHC) and Willow Reproductive Health Society (WRHS), VCH is enhancing how these services are delivered in the Vancouver region.
Currently, VCH provides contracted funding to EWHC and WRHS to operate separate clinics that provide sexual and reproductive health services. Moving forward, VCH will begin consolidating current reproductive services in Vancouver into a single site operated by a single contracted provider, EWHC. The new clinic will bring all services together under one roof, improving access and efficiencies, combining the strengths of EWHC and WRHS to enhance client care and increase in-service capacity to meet current demands.
