In Spring 2025, Vancouver Coastal Health and the BC Doctors of Optometry partnered to provide eye exams in your school, primarily for Kindergarten and Grade 1 students.
Parents received information about vision health and the pilot program with the option to opt out. Optometrists provided eye exams in the school, and glasses were given at no cost to those who needed them. This pilot program was launched to make eye care more accessible to families, identify vision problems early, and support students’ learning and health.
Now that the eye exams are complete, we would like your feedback. This survey will help us assess how well the program worked in schools and identify areas for improvement.
