What are we doing?
VCH is conducting a focus group as part of a quality improvement initiative to better understand the priorities and values surrounding serious illness, death, and advanced care planning for those from the Chinese speaking/ethnic community.
How you can get involved?
In the focus group, we'd like to hear your thoughts on a guide we're using to help doctors and other health care professionals talk about serious illness, death, and planning for advanced care.
The focus group is informal and will last about one hour and will be conducted in person. Light refreshments and beverages will be provided.
Who should apply?
If you have a Chinese ethnic background and are interested in sharing your insights on the relationship between family, religion, and culture with serious illness, death, and advanced care planning, we invite you to apply.
What is the deadline for this engagement opportunity?
This opportunity remains open until filled.
