Recruitment for Quality Improvement Council Member - G.F. Strong Rehab Centre

The G.F. Strong Rehabilitation Centre is looking for one to two passionate patient partners from Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) to join the Quality Improvement Council (QIC). G.F. Strong Rehabilitation Centre is British Columbia's largest rehabilitation centre. As a freestanding facility, G.F. Strong provides inpatient, outpatient and clinical support services to clients/patients in three primary service areas: Acquired Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury and Neuromusculoskeletal.

The G.F. Strong Rehab QIC serves to facilitate, enable, support and review health care quality and safety information, reports, and initiatives within G.F. Strong Rehab Centre with the aim of supporting an environment that is client centered and aligned with the key strategic safety and quality priorities of VCH.
The QIC is looking to include patient representatives to provide their voices and input on the priorities that G.F. Strong pursues. This includes the implementation of specific Quality Improvement (QI) projects across the three primary service areas. The patient representatives would be invited to attend monthly committee meetings with leading health care experts and provide relevant input on varied complex rehab-related issues.

If you are interested, please apply to join the Quality Improvement Council (QIC) by filling out the form below. Patient Representatives on the QIC will be invited to attend online Zoom meetings once a month on Wednesday's from 2 to 3 p.m. for a one year commitment.
