Recruitment for Committee Members - Urgent & Primary Care Centres (UPCC)

Update

The project team has selected committee members and recruitment has concluded. Thank you kindly to all applicants for their interest!

What are we doing?

Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) is looking for two patient partners to join the Urgent & Primary Care Centres (UPCC) Coordinating Committee. UPCCs' are a growing and evolving service delivery model that strives to provide needed care in a timely and accessible manner. The UPCC Coordinating Committee aims to ensure there is support for strategic planning and operational alignment across the region and it is important for members of the public to have a voice in how this service is delivered equitably and consistently across the region.

Patient partners on the committee will be able to provide a unique perspective and help shape UPCC services so that they are client/patient-centered, easily accessible and create alignment and integration across primary care, emergency services, and diagnostic services (imaging and lab) as the UPCC model continues to evolve.

We want to hear from you

  • Members who are living in Coastal-Urban, Vancouver or Richmond areas (UPCC's are located in these urban centers);
  • Selected applicants will need to be registered as a member of the Community Engagement Advisory Network (CEAN). To register, please connect with the Community Engagement Team at VCH to learn how (ce@vch.ca).
