What are we doing?

VCH's Mental Health & Substance Use (MHSU) services is offering an Early Psychosis Intervention Program on the North Shore and is seeking feedback from patients/families on their experience with psychosis.

The Early Psychosis Intervention (EPI) program is a comprehensive and evidence-based approach to treating and supporting young adults (age 13-30) who are experiencing early and first episode psychosis. This program/ model of service has existed in other communities but is a new program to the North Shore.

MHSU services would like to share some information on what the Early Psychosis Intervention program will be, how to access it and how the service will be delivered.

We would like to provide an opportunity for patients and families to share on:

  • Their experiences accessing services;
  • Feedback they may have on services and the referral process in general;
  • Suggestions on any community education opportunities related to early psychosis

Who should register?

We are encouraging individuals who have lived experience with psychosis or family members of individuals with psychosis, to express their interest in this engagement opportunity. We are particularly interested in hearing the voices of those who have lived experience with psychosis and accessing of MHSU services.
