Language Services - Translation

Language Services aims to break down cultural and language barriers that can pose challenges in navigating the health care system and accessing health care.

What we do

We translate health care materials to provide comprehensive health care services to our communities.

These health care materials include but are not limited to:

• Patient education materials
• Self-care guidebooks
• Handouts
• Brochures
• Information bulletins on vch.ca
• Materials on topics such as post-anesthesia care, medical procedure preparation, newborn care, long-term care homes, etc.

We currently offer translation services in Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Punjabi, Spanish, Vietnamese, Russian, Japanese, Farsi, Arabic, Tagalog and Korean.
