VCH launches next phaseof Health Vision Sechelt | shíshálh Hospital
Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) has launched next roundofengagement for Health Vision Sechelt | shíshálh Hospital, a long-term planning process that will help guide the delivery of future health-care services at the hospital campus.
As part of the planning process, VCH has developed a draft high-level Clinical Service Plan (CSP) for the hospital campus, based on historical data and trends, industry best practices, population projections, as well as input fromshíshálh Nation, the local community, staff and medical staff, and health-care partners.Once finalized, the plan will inform an integrated vision for future health-care services at the hospital campus, including functioning programming and infrastructure recommendations.
Moving forward, VCH will work with the B.C. Government and other relevant partners to further coordinate, and advance the recommendations outlined in Health Vision Sechelt | shíshálh Hospital, as appropriate.
We are pleased to invite you to participate in the next round of engagement for Health Vision Sechelt|shíshálh Hospital.
During upcoming drop-in engagement sessions, VCHwill review what was heard during prior engagement, share key details from the draft CSP, address any questions and comments as well as discuss next steps. In addition to the upcoming drop-in sessions, VCH will also continue to engage directly with shíshálh Nation as well as local staff and medical staff.
Community input is a valuable part of the planning process. We hope you can participatein one of the upcoming community engagement sessions to learn more and share your thoughts.
