Feedback - Standardizing Cardiac Surgery Patient Resource Guide

Consultation has concluded

What are we doing?

The VCH / PHC Regional Cardiac Program is updating information resources to help patients prepare for cardiac surgery.

This work builds on a survey of 41 patients that was completed in the summer of 2021, which revealed some gaps in the types of information / supports / materials provided to patients prior to having surgery. The goal is to create a single guidebook that all cardiac surgery patients would receive before surgery.

How YOU can get INVOLVED

We would like your feedback on the draft patient guidebook so that we can make it clear and easy to understand. Some considerations may be:

  • Is the guide clear and easy to understand?
  • Are there any improvements that you can suggest?

Who should give feedback?
Ideally anyone who has had cardiac surgery, or has cared for someone who has had cardiac surgery. However, general feedback is also welcomed.

How do I give feedback?
Use the feedback button at the end of the page to provide feedback. You'll be asked a series of questions that you can respond to. Please be specific where possible when providing your feedback.

How can I access the guidebook in order to give my feedback?
Open the following link to access the draft version of the guidebook to review before providing your feedback using the feedback button at the end of the page.
