Advisor - Sea-to-Sky PCN Committee

Update: November 9th, 2022

Thank you for your interest. We've paused recruitment so we can consolidate interest from our applicants so far. Check back again for the status of this recruitment in January 2023.

What are we doing?

VCH is a partner to the development of a Sea to Sky Primary Care Network (PCN) with distinct planning work underway in the communities of Whistler and Squamish. As a first step to developing a formal PCN, VCH and other partners have an opportunity to develop a PCN Service Plan.

To ensure that service plan is robust, a PCN Steering Committee has been struck in both Squamish and in Whistler. Both groups will be tasked with identifying the opportunities and challenges related to delivery of primary care services in their community, and through PCN service planning, will be tasked with identifying strategies to address them.

Learn more about Primary Care Networks in B.C.

How YOU can get INVOLVED

The committee is seeking at most two members of the community each from the Squamish and Whistler areas to join the committee.

Who should apply?

Are you a resident of Squamish, Whistler or nearby Pemberton? If so, you are encouraged to apply.

What is the time commitment format?

  • The committee meets on an ongoing basis through the year both in-person and by Zoom.
