What are we doing?
Vancouver Coastal Health's South Mental Health and Substance Use team (SMHSU) is working to improve health outcomes for persons with treatment resistant psychosis, including through optimizing medication.
How YOU can get INVOLVED
The team is looking to engage persons with lived experience of treatment resistant psychosis and/or their family members to review their research priorities, develop research plans, and evaluate outcomes.
Who should apply?
Please apply if you are:
- a persons with lived experience of treatment resistant psychosis; or
- are a family member who has supported someone with treatment resistant psychosis.
What is the time commitment / engagement format?
- This is a short term engagement opportunity, ending May 2022.
- The team currently meets weekly. However, advisors can either attend weekly or less depending on their preference and availability.
- Team meetings take place on most Mondays from 1:30PM to 2:00PM, and advisors are welcome to attend by Zoom or in person.
