What are we doing?
Lions Gate Hospital’s Coastal Community Transitions Steering Committee meets every week to make plans for the hospital’s Acute Community Medicine Program. The overall goal of this program is to support frail patients and clients across various care settings to improve their overall care experience and quality of life.
How you can get involved?
The steering committee invites a public member to join them and share their voice, insights, and experiences at their weekly meetings. Your participation will help them enhance and maintain the quality of their services. Meetings are held on Friday mornings from 8:15 to 9:00am. Meetings can be attended virtually.
Who should apply?
The committee are seeking individuals who have been past patients at Lions Gate Hospital (or similar hospitals) and are passionate about improving health care services. The committee values your firsthand insights into both the strengths and areas for improvement. (Please note that applicant preference will be given to those who have had direct experience with Lions Gate Hospital).
